Why stick with Leopard? My results show that with a GTX 285 and TH2Gs, Snow Leopard performs better than Leopard.

Thoughts or reasons?

on new machines - 2009 onwards - 10.6.x it works much better - up to 40% more layers

TH2G is not a reason to stick with leopard in general

the 16 core hyperthreaded cores in 2009 macs work much better - there was a major architecture change in 2009 macs - each processor core was split into 2 hyperthreaded cores -

The new Intel Xeon “Nehalem” processors support Hyper-Threading, which allows two threads to run simultaneously on each core. i dont see any software issues on 10.6.x
