Thread: Smooth Fade between Files in cue lists

    Thank you Paul that has answered my question.

    So if i use different layers for the different cues they should in theory fade?

    yes.

    Assign the pair of layers to the same mix/output
    Essentially you will be crossfading from layer A to Layer B (eg 1 to 2)
    1) Save one preset with required look using layer A at full (and B at 0 if necessary)
    2) Save 2nd preset with required look using layer B at full and A at 0
    3) edit both presets and set the intensity to 'fade to' and enter the time required for our transition.

    Watch the layers window to ensure that the faders move as expected.
