Hi guys,
I have a show coming up where I'm going to need an HD video input into Catalyst. It will need to be on VGA or 5 wire (rgbhv). Does anyone have any suggestions on what device to use. Of course it will need to be FireWire.
Thanks in advance!

Hello
HD input options are HD-SDI or HDMI using either a AS Phoenix card or a Decklink Intensity.
Some of the USB/DVI adapters work quite well, but refresh rates and latency can be an issue.

I forgot to add: this is on a Catalyst Express running on an iMac.
in that case, one of the DVI2USB adapters may be your only chance!

Nevermind, found one!
well. . . . share with the class. What did you find?
I'm going to try the Epiphan VGA2USB

The Epiphan DVI2USB can suport both DVI & VGA depending upon the resolution and frame rate required...
