Hi and a happy new year to everybody!
What is the status on capture cards with multiple inputs? Are the Active Silicon cards working and available? (Especially the composite ones, actually.)
Does anyone have any experience with this?
Thanks!

LFG 4 Composite capture card work fine in all intel MacPros. (There's also one for a G5 if you really need it...)
It is possible to install 3 x cards in one mac and therefore run 12 inputs. The 'release' version of catalyst only supports 8. But custom versions support more.
Full Active Silicon range is available from me and other distributors
Let me know if you want to try one out before making a purchase

If all you need is composite, a single LFG card works great. You can add more than one if you need more than four inputs but be wary of doing anything that you don't setup in the shop and test first.
The Phoenix cards are great and I believe we will all eventually have them but they are specifically SDI cards and if you are composite only, more than you need. They work very well and also do HD.
