its not going to be available for another couple of months.
i have no idea what will happen about performance.
ill try and test one at wwdc ( apples developer conference ) in san francisco in a couple of weeks.
Was chatting to Phil Mercer about this over the weekend. He raised a valid point which is the roadworthiness of a water cooled system.
Not sure how it will take to being banged around a truck and even whether it will operate properly lying on its side.
Time will tell though.

Its no less roadworthy than any other piece of electronics out there - including such things like lcd displays.
"it wont be water."
Sorry my mistake - liquid cooled.
I just think that as with any new problem there are unknowns. Everything needs testing in the environment in which it is to be used.
When the G5 launched originally they had processor board issues which involved a product recall for some units from what I understand.
I think people shouldn't expect to see these units in the field immediately.

It will ship next day if you use fedex service. It says 30 days but that must be a typo because mine shipped the day after I purchased it. Should have it either tomorrow or monday.
I take no reposibility for any ship times but this is a great deal.

almost time for the next revision to ship.
they had exactly the same problems delivering last year.
seemed to be the result of engineering issues
