    Dongle Not Recognized - Urgent

    Hello,

SAMSC has been working great for us, but now suddenly will not recognize the dongle (any SAMSC version). I've sent you an e-mail with more detail as well, but
I wasn't sure which is the faster way of communicating.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks
    El

are you using Samsc in the same machine you were using b4 thins happen ?

Yes, exactly the same system. Not even any software updates when we started to have the problem.

Tried updateing the HASP driver, and that doesn't help.

    Anything else?

    Thanks,

Ok, so an interesting new twist. After removing everything SAMSC on the system, and reinstalling vers. D27, I can now save, but only for approx. 3 to 5 minutes after launching the program. Then after a program restart, I can work for another 3 to 5 minutes until it again tells me that I am in demo mode when saving. I managed to make it through todays tech that way, but it is going to be a LOOOOONG week if I have to continue.

    Any thoughts anyone?

    Thanks,
    El

Well I don't think SAMCS it's designed to count 5 minute b4 going to DemoMode , that mean it's something not related to SAMCS , it must be an hardware issue .

    >Dongle it's broken ?

    Perhaps

    >USB broken ?

I don't think so. System Profiler sees the hasp.

    >Ask Richard to get a new dongle to prove it's not the System ?

I tried both reinstalling the driver and updating the driver, Neither seemed to make a difference.

I''ve sent Richard some screen captures, so we'll see what he thinks.

    Thanks for your help!

Just a final follow up - Richard sent us a new unlock code and that solved the problem.

    Thanks!
