Thread: DVI/HDMI Capture

    That is true, I tryied one, and they just capture HDMI Component, and not HDMI RGB (I did not know was 2 types of HDMI), anyway does not work to capture computers, only Video Devices.
    Also on a Mac, does not work togheter the Blackmagic, one or other, so I stick with the Blackmagic extreme, and have one HDMI out.

    to capture onto computer best to convert to sdi.
    that seems ok.

    quite a number of new camcoders now have hdmi outputs, this is what they are used for - i believe.
