More Widescreen Issues

When I use the Shutter Setup Effect in widescreen L/R mode Catalyst kicks the 'widened (single layer spread over two screens)' image back down to 2 seperate screens. Is this meant to be this way?
In other words, when I try to create a shutter on one side of a widescreen setup I cannot. That effect does not work in widescreen mode. Hopefully operator error. Any ideas?

sounds like a software bug

Thanks for the quick response. I have a show in September that will require me to use that feature in widescreen mode. Do you think it will be corrected by then? Thanks. Mark

new beta software version has entirely new way of doing widescreen.
