Time code on cue list - V4

    Hi Richard and Hugh,

I am sure you guys are aware of this, but I was told to report it anyhow.

After loading the cue list, when I move to change the time code manually on the standalone system, I find that when I close the cue list I am left with the blacked out time code window and that is all.

Sometimes it is only on the time code slot that you can type in, saw for cue 1... sometimes it is 3 slots. Sometimes I can just click on something in the OS or on Catalyst and it will go away, and more often I will have to change the time code to close it out. I am left with tiny black time code squares basically.

I hope I am explaining this well enough. It is just a very strange bug. More of an annoyance.

I think this forum was a wonderful idea.

    MAC OS X version 10.4.6.
    4 x 2.5 GHz Power PC G5
    Catalyst V4.01_m38

I have tested this with the server we have in our Service lab as well, and that system is 10.4.6
Dual 2.7 GHz Power PC G5
    Catalyst V4.01_m38

Since this problem is difficult to visualize I will illustrate what I am doing step by step.

In the Cue List window, after making a few cues, I click on the time code under wait time to open the edit box.
After entering my time code numbers, I close the edit box by pressing enter.
The changes are saved correctly on all cues.
I then, simply close the cue lists window,
The time code edit box stays on the screen somehow.
This problem is almost always consistant.
I will go in manufacturing and test this on the new servers as well.

Like I said, it isn't causing any issues with playback. It is an annoyance.

    Test in Manufacturing:

    10.4.6
    Dual 2.7 GHz
    4.01_M38
    Three showed the same bug

Test in RTS with reworked rentals

    10.4.5
    Dual 2GHz
    4.01_m38
3 tested positive for the bug

I have noticed one more thing. If I only click the time code edit box, and not press enter but click on the next box to edit, it ALWAYS leaves the boxes open after closing the window. So if you close the edit boxes properly by pressing enter and not click on them after editing them, you shouldnt see the problem.

believe this is something happening in os when window is closed.
    not part of application.
does not affect functionality or performance.
