    How much disc space does a dv movie take?

    DV movies use around 4Megabytes/second with sound.

    One hours worth of dv footage takes around 12 Gigabytes.

    It's worth remembering that uncompressed Standard Definition footage uses around 25Mb/Sec.

    its around 17mb/s if the data is stored in yuv 4:2:2.
    i think...??

    rgb 4:4:4 is 31Mb/s 720x576x3x25
