Scrolling in a movie without locking to movie time

This is a very old request I had years ago while working with SAMSC.

In the sequence you can lock to internal or , for example, movie time. But if you have multiple video's in a show, this is not working when the sequence is locked to movie time. Scrolling trough the timeline while the movie is scrolling too is only possible when locked to the movietime.
To solve this there is already one problem, if you have , for example, 1 movieplayer and different clips, scrolling trough the timeline causes the movieplayer to load and play the different clips instantly. One other solution might be to use for each clip a different movieplayer, but what if you have 50 clips? Thirt option might be to use a different sequence for each movie and lock to movietime, this way you can scroll.
The reason for this request is to make programming all the lightcues etc etc more comfortable . If you can scroll then it is easyer to spot your cues. If you work with only one movie this is easy, but with more then one in one timeline it is hard. Now I know that SAMSC is a triggerbased program, and not a locked to video setup, so this might be tricky. Maybe there is another workaround for this. For now I use multiple sequences, all locked to movietime.
