In the quicktime forum we posted several bug reports to Apple, but this is no bug, they just "forgot" it from 10.2 on....Otherwise I could get SOME reply from Apple the last 3 years?
But I heard rumours that under 10.4 and the new writing of QT7 the midi output to a external device would work again...
This way you can store different types of info into a QT file (midi, audio, video) and scroll while your midi commands are rock-solid!

I made the midi track always in a sequencer with a movie as lead, and exported the midifile and imported it again in a movie in Quicktime Pro.
Worked untill QT Pro 5.

Not yet, tommorow I finish the last tourdate, so this upcoming week I want to test it.

not enough time from release to evaluate.

i have installed it and am using it. but cannot recommend people change from system they know and are using unless there is a compelling feature they need.
