Thread: Decklink Video desktop - turn it OFF.

Decklink Video desktop - turn it OFF.

Make sure you have the decklink video desktop output turned off.

Catalyst and decklink desktop do not work well together.

The decklink video desktop gives you another video display output - but it does not have any opengl acceleration.
If you accidentally drag a window onto this desktop display - you will kill performance.

Thanks Richard, the same notice is now posted on the High End site, linked to from the Catalyst v3.3 support pages and community site. http://www.highend.com/support/techn...deoDesktop.asp

Its one of those things, that if people have accidentally dragged a window onto the decklink output - it will kill catalyst.

I had the output on - here - with no ill effects.

No, not all the time. I got a feeling that it was when changing to either DV films or jpg pictures.

wouldnt have been the files, but related to timing.
i think the decklink desktop might have subtely caused a synchronisation issue.
