Found the 12 layer file in the end typing it manually

fixed. i typed 8 instead of 12.

I presume primary and backup is for use with 2 networked machines? If so is this command broadcast between them so that they change over simultaneously?

Two G5's connected to one set of artnet boxes.
All connected over network.

On the large show i just did, they had a programming position and a FOH position, and wanted to be able to switch between them.

Apple seems to have changed their mac.com download file paths.

Fixed.
