    in addition

The 1013 is pretty cool and pretty cheap if you only need Y/C out. A step up from that are two units..

One is the 1012 which has controls on the front and also as Y/C and Component out.

The big brother to this unit is the 1015 which is the same but also has a DVD drive.

This way you can get content onto the Edje network and distribute from there. How I have been specifying this unit is the master edje has the drive (1015) and the slaves are the base model (1012)

The units slave with frame accuracy using the Adtec protocol in the Edje network.

Controlling these units via samsc can be done through serial or Ethernet.

    they're ok

I used four of them slaved together once.
Worked fine, but it takes forever to upload the video files. The units have 10 instead of 100Mb ethernet and you're forced to use a dirty windows program to do the upload. Once the files were in, i started to like them.
Good skipping from file to file.
