you can export a dv file using the quicktime mpeg 2 component.
then multiplex the audio and video using 'MPEG Streamclip'

    I just did this.
then uploaded to the adtec using the mac ftp program 'RBrowserLite'

  2. The EDJE UBIT: on-board DVD drive

I plan to use the on-board DVD drive since the client is giving it to me in that form..

In addition FTP transfer is much slower then using the DVD drive...

have you checked the format that the client is planning on producing his mpeg clips in?

a ten minute clip ( 300MB ) took about 10 minutes over ftp. so its not quick.
