reason why you can't change values in the GUI

    my question:
    >would there be any reason why the program wouldn't let me change values
    >from the gui manually, even with the wrong video card? I can't seem to
    >change the file from within the gui, nor can I bring up the Intensity with
    >the slider...
    >
    >I don't have a CIB physically connected to the machine...we used to be able
    >to affect things from the gui without the CIB I thought...

    richard's reply:
you have the dmx input turned on.
