oop Back and Forth

It would be nice to have loop back and forth as a play mode, as you can do in Quicktime.

Also, would it be possible to enable motion trails on layers other than just layer 1? I know if you have it enabled on layer 1 and you have some transparency it will show in other layers, but there are times when I want it, and either layer one has no transparency, or I can't use it due to what I am doing with layer 1.

never quite got around to this.

lots of people always asked for motion trails on other layers.
unfortunately the opengl code necessary to do this had a huge performance hit last time i checked.
i have tried various different strategies. i could not make any of them work well enough last time i tried. kept running into problems.
