Running F28 on a stock system direct from High End - 7200rpm drive, blah, blah, blah. The point is that F28 runs very slowly when both outputs are enabled. If output 2 is disabled, the frame rate increases dramatically.

what is your 'stock system' from highend?Originally Posted by RGMdddd

Regardless of that fact, does anyone else run into this issue? If not, then I will look at our configuration.

You absolutely need to post your configuration before anyone can tell you anything.Originally Posted by RGMdddd
You havent mentioned your processor, or your operating system.
Or your graphics card.
You have said that you are using a poor disc system. A single 7200rpm disc?
You need to tell me the serial number string in the "About Catalyst..." dialog
it begins with numbers like
1033D1-3222
Once you have told me your configuation?
It is vital if you run two screens that both screens are set to the same refresh rate or frequency.
This depends on what screens you are using, and what kindof outputs you are using
For 30fps playback, both screens must be set to 60Hz.
For 25fps playback, both screens must be set to 75Hz.
You must not be using any kindof apple studio display, as the refresh rate on these types of monitors cannot be changed.
F28 is faster than all previous builds in a properly configured g5 system with radeon 9800.
Which build of f28 - how many layers?
