    Remote - Content glitch and Timecode offset

    Im testing a senario where one Catalyst will broadcast Sync and Preset triggers to two slave servers. On the remote all is well, but on the two slave servers there is what can only be described as single frame black flash where the content disappears and comes back again. Its random too and cant be replicated in the same spot. At the moment its a single network cable between two servers.

    Entering Timecode into File HUD window

    Im also having problems entering timecode into the file hud. The frames section jumps as follows:
    1 = 5
    2 = 10
    3 = 15
    ...
    5 = 24
    6 = 29
    7 = 34

    Any ideas please?

    Not sure about the content glitch, but I think I had a similar TC entry problem with the frame value in m364 when assigning a media file a timecode value in the 'Files' tab in the 'Libraries' window..

    Work around for this was to enter the TC value manually in the 'MediaFilesPrefs.xml' in your show folder. (Make a Backup first just in case!)

    It will look something like below.

    <mediaprefs version="0.1">
    <media folder="0" file="0">
    <overide active="YES" timecode="01:01:01:24" />

    Just enter your required TC value for each file where the TC is, save the file and it should work.

    same issue with inputting the frames... hadnt had time to look and see if it was some simple math or something... but it def doesnt input the number you actually type...

  4. hi

    the text input problem is a know bug that we've been waiting to be fixed for a while. It does seem to have been sorted out in the upcoming Mavericks release.
