RS232 Commands out of a System without Dongle

Hey there

just wondering if a Catalyst System without a dongle will send out RS 232 commands? Or is that also limited like the audio and video output?

I would have a scenario, where i could use a backup machine which we will have on the show as a trigger for Image Pros. Only limitation is that this machine is the second backup and comes without a dongle.

Catalyst will output Rs232 without a dongle. But - you can not save a cuelist without a dongle.
