DMX control of Panasonic AW-HE50 PTZ camera

    Hi Everyone.
I have a Panasonic AW-HE50 PTZ camera on my network. I am controlling it using the Catalyst camera controller under the panasonic http preset.

I can control this using the faders in the controller without any problems (although a bit clunky)

I'm trying (sort of successfully) to control this with a Hog 3. I am using the panasonic AW-HE50 fixture found on the high end site in the "uncommon v4.3.184 fixture library"

The control seems to work, but there is a huge lag between moving the encoders and the camera moving. I don't see this when I move a parameter directly in the camera controller.

    Any ideas?

    Hi Peter,
A nice idea but the camera is controlled using http commands rather than RS232.

    Thanks anyway
