I bet that you could just shuffle a catalyst output to an sdi monitor with the decklink. Anyone try this yet?

Couldn't you just build a mode that would go full screen on the sdi monitor instead of the second output on the card?

Is this what you are trying to do with the Aurora mac desktop extension?

Have you checked out the latest V4.xb11 decklink drivers yet? They enable RT effects now in FCP as well as the rt HD downconversion live.

cant do this because the graphics card does all the work - not the processor.

decklink and aurora cards output using quicktime. i used to do this in samsc. its a totally different workflow.
