    Mac OS 10.6.7 & Nvidia Quadro 4000

If you are considering upgrading to MacOS 10.6.7 and are using an Nvidia Quadro 4000 graphics card - you must also upgrade the Nvidia Quadro 4000 drivers:

    Nvidia Quadro 4000 Driver (10.6.7):
    Retail_256.01.00f03v7.dmg
    (web page)

    Nvidia CDUA Driver (10.6.5 onwards):
    CUDA 3.2.17 driver for MAC
    (web page)

Otherwise, you may experience Catalyst crash at startup with previous Nvidia Quadro 4000 drivers.

Nvidia Quadro 4000 drivers must be downloaded from the Nvidia website - the drivers included in MacOS 10.6.6 / 10.6.7 dont work... (!)

Suggest downloading the Quadro 4000 .DMG file before upgrading to 10.6.7 - as safari seemed to crash too, once 10.6.7. was upgraded (before Quadro 4000 upgrade...)

    1) Download Quadro 4000 .DMG
    2) Download & Upgrade 10.6.7
    3) Upgrade Quadro 4000 driver
