    Border Color

    Hello everyone.
I wonder if possible, put a border color to a layer, modified in size, style (Vix FX-crop border).
Without having to use another layer underneath, a little bigger and the color I want for the border.

I tried Shutter color shuttered, but the edge occupies the entire space of the mixer.

What I do is have a background layer and another layer in the center with a colored border.

    Thank you very much everybody.

I dont think such an fx exists - theres lots of ways to do this with 2 layers - but not with one, unless you edit the original clip...

But it would be interesting to have a 'frame' fx...
    - border thickness / soft edge
    - colour
    - drop shadow / direction / distance
    - reflection / direction / distance / soft edge

would give more interest to still images or corporate event type shows...

How would you do it with two layers? Just curious to see how other people work when they want to use tow effects on one clip.

To get the appearance of a frame around an object, you would have to use 2 layers...
Its not about using two effects on one clip - but about using multiple layers.

Use the bottom layer for the border - colour or pictorial fame
Use the top layer for the graphic/picture and resize as required to fit within the border on the layer below.

Theres nothing really clever about this - just simple layering...
