    catalyst output patch

    Hi there,

We are using two Catalyst HDs in the repetoire theatre here, using them in allmost all shows, two outputs on each catalyst.

For each theatre show the patching of layers to outputs is different.

It seems a little awkward to have to manually redo the output patch on 28 layers every time a different show is put on.

Is there a way to save these different catalyst output patches, and recall them for the different shows ? Or: what is the most efficient method of doing this ? And is there a way to recall them through DMX ?

    thanks !

    Gideon,

Create 10 folders on your hard disk. Copy all Catalyst files into each of the 10 folders. In each folder, configured Catalyst the way you need it. Then when it's time to launch Catalyst, launch the application from the folder with the appropriate settings for that particular show.
