it would be much more useful if lighting consoles/visualisation systems got to grips with VNC- and wrote a VNC client to read screens-
its a simple open protocol- search for RFB protocol- remote frame buffer-
Its already built-in to the mac os


then they could preview whatever you wanted- on any screen anywhere- and real resolution-

Very true, but when have lighting console manufacturers done what people wanted

In all seriousness it does seem that CITP is becoming more prevalent and having it in Catalyst would be very useful.
