    Movie flickering

I just upload a movie into the Content library , is an Mpeg movie....
I can see the movie when I play it but it flickers....
I tryed changing the play speed and still does the same

  2. hello

you should not use Mpeg movies, you need to create a Quicktime movie using the Apple Intermediate Codec for the best results. Let us know if you have any more questions.

    how do I do that?

  4. Hello

are you creating your movie or are you using some existing content?

If you are making it, whatever software you are using, when you come to save the movie file, make it Quicktime format using the Apple Intermediate Codec (AIC). This is assuming you are using a Mac to create the content, as PC's do not have the AIC.

If you are using premade content, you will need to convert it to Quicktime using a third party piece of software. There are several programs out there.

where did you get your files from?

can you get them in a different format?

noone uses mpeg2 files on macs- so the support isnt very strong- apple doesnt keep their mpeg2 decoder up to date

mpeg4- h264 is more common - but you shouldnt use this either-

codecs with interframe compression are not good
