Quicktime ( not phoenix or LFG ) video input
Apple changed something between 10.6.0 and 10.6.2
Could have been a pro app update or an intermediate quicktime update-
my isight laptop camera suddenly started crashing-
i didnt change anything in software-
----
Something isnt being initialised correctly by quicktime
A possible fix is this:
- quit catalyst
- then download and run this tiny application
- http://homepage.mac.com/goatee/.Publ...OfMungGrab.zip
- when video input appears
- quit
- then run catalyst
you might have to do this twice...- this program seems to initialise video input correctly
then catalyst doesnt crash when video input turned on
Hopefully apple will figure out what made this happen
