Hi Richard,
The transport control is very useful for longer movie files when running from a certain point during rehearsals. However it is unusable when controlling from a DMX console.
What would be great is a button that allowed you to override the DMX control for only the playmode, inframe and outframe parameters.

This would allow us to quickly cue up a movie by scrubbing to the correct point whilst retaining all the other parameters, manually play the movie and reinstate control to DMX when we're done

when the movie has been told to play by DMX you can scrub using the play back bar at the bottom.

You can do this on a layer by layer basis...

If you set up your cue with DMX - then turn off the DMX control of that layer in the catalyst control window - the values will remain until changed.

This means that you CAN scrub to the correct point manually

Once done - switch on the DMX controller on the Catalyst Control window to re-gain DMX control.

You can also enable / disable DMX control via the 'control/ tab on the webserer.
