    Scale for 3d Objects

I use a 3d Object for masking my LiveInput - now I want to scale it up without scale the content or input up - is it possible ?

    Thanks

Yes, that is exactly how Catalyst works. The video file is mapped exactly to the 3d object as you have designed it when you create your own custom 3d object or as it was designed in the map of the stock 3d objects.

When you x,y,z rotate or x,y,scale and shift, you are manipulating the location of the 3d object. This is the basis of what I do almost all the time with Catalyst.

If you need to shift the content on the map it is a bit more difficult. It is possible though. Here's how you would do it:

Assign Layer 1 to Mix 1 which is your main output. Assign layers 2 thru n to mix 2. In Layer 1 use VFX 105 called Mix Test and pick Mix 2. Now you can scale the layers in mix two and the maps will appear to scale over the top of your 3d object in Mix 1 layer 1.
