    2 videoprojectors

    Hello,

I need to split a video picture to be able to use 2 videoprojectors to produce a large picture.
The matrox 2 heads is a poor solution because I will have a vertical line in the middle of the screen.
    Any idea ?

    Thank you.

Why do you think this will 'have a vertical line' in the middle?

    can you explain more?

If you use edge blending - and adjust the curve as necessary it is possible to hide the blend in most scenarios. Although it is more difficult if rear-projecting.

    2 video projectors

    hello,

Thank you for the answer, I was talking about "soft edges".
My solution: editing my video contents with final cut and built a special video with soft edges for left and right video, then merge in a one video.
Outputed in a matrox 2heads, it should be good.
    I will tell you .....

Catalyst can do the soft edge blinding for you from the mix windows. The nice thing is you can vary the amount easily to taste so your image looks correct in the real world.

    2 videoprojectors

    Hello,

    Thank you,
I am sure that catalyst can do many things, but my real word is a poor word: I am just using SAMSC.

    Jerome -

I have sent you a message - I would suggest trying Catalyst - download software and see how easy it is to use edge blending:

Im sure you will get better results than trying to do it in Final Cut...

Let me know if you require any further assistance
