    Hi Guys,
    i need to know if it's possibile use a video (.avi .mov) with audio in quadriphonia..what i need? an audio device? but Catalyst can drive 4 audio channel?

    yes - it is possible to do multiple audio channels, you can actually embed 24 channels of audio in a Quicktime movie using Final Cut PRO.

    To replay multiple channels of audio through Catalyst, you need a multi channel audio interface, something like the Edirol UA-101, to handle to multiple channels.

    I set up a multi-audio channel timeline in Final Cut Pro, exported a QuickTime movie. After that in QuickTime Player, you can patch the different channels to different output channels if you need to.

    I lke to remind that Final Cut it's not needed to embed more audio tracks to a QT movies .
    It's possible to use just QT PRO to add the tracks.
