tcp/ip(ethernet) camera's thought artnet to catalyst

Hi another question 4 u guys! Is it possible 2 control ethernet camera's on an network without having a back magic card in sys ?( ie secondary control of camera's pos installed in venues all ready ?1c allowed control of ethernet network !). thnx again garyrusty

there is no standard for ethernet cameras - they are all different and many use proprietary or poorly documented interfaces - and for our uses have extremely poor latency.

which ones have you seen?
