    Switching output layer assignments

    Richard,
Is it possible to switch in-between 2 layers to two outputs and then
with DMX switch to 4 layers to one output? Also would be cool to be able to switch to wide screen.
    Could this be possible?
Is it implemented and I don't know about it?

This is a request I've gotten a lot. This would be an extremely useful tool.

    Yes.
    I wanted to do it.

When the timing was right - and the users were up to speed.

Problem with a feature like this is - it adds an extra modal state to the entire system - and if they havent set it up right over dmx - they wont see anything.

All output will be disabled with the grandmaster down - unless they have figured out the non-dim channel use.

    Its a 'dangerous' feature.
Possibly only for boy or girl racers.

Now that there a lot more DMX in's would it be possible to map output one to a DMX in and map output to another DMX in. Then you would be able to change the output configureation on the fly via a signal DMX ch. And if you don't need to switch you output it stays how ever you configure it at the beginning, and you just don't patch it. I have been getting a few requests for this.
