Any experience with Matrox MXO 2?

I was looking for a Solution to get SDI into my Macbook Pro Catalyst and stumbled upon this device from Matrox, which looks quite clever to me.

Does anybody used this succesfully with Catalyst?

video input - no idea-

you will have to find someway to test - try borrowing one from a dealer

no. its too clever.
it bypasses the graphics card.

the first version the 'mxo' worked - but their software was unreliable at best.
that used the graphics card dvi output - with some messing around by them to try and do audio at the same time.
