    Continued education (maximizing live video)

Mac Pro 3.0 Intel Quad Core
    OS X 10.4.10
    2 giga byte RAM
    X1900
    250gb system drive
    2x 500gb RAID content drive
    LFG 4
    Decklink Extreme express version

    Monitors:
    Single preview monitor

    Current Connections:
    Output 1- Barco Image Pro
Output 2- Pair of 32" LCD monitors (using a VGA splitter)

Now that you guys know what I have to work with.

In the spirit of always learning.
Has anyone noticed better performance from a Decklink card with more memory installed in the mac?

When assigning video inputs in the HUD does the program assign any kind of priority. For example... will the program give more resources to video input 1 over video input 3?

Having an LCD monitor connected while the projector/video wall (to the same output) is connected for playback. Would that affect performance?

Any other helpful tips or info for maximizing the live performance would be greatly accepted.

    Thanks
    Chris Lighthall

I just realized I posted this in the wrong area. Sorry about that.
