Edge Blending Scenarios

Has anyone as of yet used two Matrox TripleHead2Go devices to create a 2x3 Edge blend using 6 projectors? Or has anyone used a DualHead2Go t create a 2x2 edge blend using 4 projectors?

If so, what were your results?

1. Did you blend using 10% 20% or 25%?
2. Did the images play right?
3. Did the submixes span to work right?
4. How big were the files run in these blend scenarios?
5. Has anyone done this yet using Apple Intermediate Codec at 1080p?
6. Did you sync to other Catalyst machines?
7. Did the sync work?

I've never tried 3x2, but I've done a lot of 6x1 blends, I set my screens to 2400x600 and I usually end up with 25% blends. I split my content in two 1200x600 videos and I run them in sync, it usually works better for me....

Since my last post, I've actually done a whole bunch of tests with this. Yes, 1x6 is the common one I end up with. The issue I end up with is latency between each output of the MAC.

Actually, been working on a one with 5 machines to do 30 projectors and 127 mixes. I'll get back to you on results.
