I've noticed when playing a layer with audio that the "movies" bar in stats and also the frame rate drops to 0.

so, today i did some small test again with my macbookpro.
i played with the custom effects in colour fx.
that is also great stuff!
but no matter which layer i chosed, my changeings always went to layer 1!?!

tomorrow i will hava a little test with a hog 3 connected to the catalyst, to see what the actual lib in the hog3 is doing wioth all the new colour fx features. i have the feeling that the lib like it is right now, will not give me access to all the new fx.... maybe they need to work on the lib again and make new buttons for all those new things.

what do you mean? ( fx 200- 240 have been in the software for at least 6 months ) i just made them do more things

hi richard,

i played again with 147, macbookpro, sorry no dongel right now, waiting for arcus.

i would like to use 147 on my upcoming tour, because of the nice layer preview pre fader option and the mix preview option.

i played again with that and found the mix preview option not working, alls 8 mixes in the preview window are full white, no content.

is that because i had no dongle connected?

any other reason

I noticed that when I try to resize a mix window from 1920 x 1080 down to something smaller, say 1920 x 600, the window just snaps to 1300 or so the minute you try moving the resize corner.

there are some limits because on older systems making larger mixes just kills them.

only works for keystone and curved mixes for now.

There is still the issue of the size jumping if you are trying to resize the largest size mix.

My scenario is that we are using a Spyder to spread a single output of a 1900xt at 1920 x 1600 over 2 projectors. Ideally I want the mix to be 1920 x 612 pixels. If I size the mix to 1920 x 1080 as per the menu in Mix options it goes to that size no problem. But if I want to drag the corner up to get my 612 size the width snaps to 1710 pixels.

I can get around this with cropping and positioning on the Spyder but I would really like to have it on the Catalyst so I can preview the image at the source and see that my sizing is all correct and that my custom artwork looks as it should.
