Artnet Data Dropout

I'm using one layer of Catalyst on a Pro 4 server to pixelmap data to a field of Color Blaze strips. ArtNet is being converted to DMX via my GrandMA console.

Everything is working great on motion video.

On stills, all of the pixel mapped data blinks out momentarily every 5 seconds.

Any thoughts?

I think I have just seen the same problem.
What sw version are you using.
I was using m132
But what I did try was recording a preset in catalyst when I had the flickering problem. Then unplugging the artnet and playing the preset back. This then still had the flickering problem.
The thing I just tried was to use sw m119 which isn't flickering at the moment.
I'm still playing at now.

Has anybody else seem the same issues.

Make sure you are not broadcasting on the same artnet universe you are controlling the Catalyst with (if you are controlling it via artnet). That can cause a strobing effect.

Nope.
Catalyst is driven via DMX into the CIB. (Universe 1 on the console.)

ArtNet comes back from the Catalyst with color data, converts and merges with Universe 2 of the console.


Not sure which build is on the Purple rig.....

artnet box problems or network sometimes - which artnet output box are you using?

or you have a merge from a different universe that is at 0?

or possibly two outputs from catalyst on the same universe
