with version 3 - there were a few options.
but several video input cards have been made obsolete or discontinued.

you can use a decklink card- and a dv input device at the same time.

suggest you try lfg4 from active silicon- only works with version 4- custom drivers are required to get the best.

there used to be a miglia composite video input card, and another company that made cards - both went out of business or got discontinued

aja and decklink cards didnt play nicely together - last time i checked - when installed in the same machine.

the alchemy tv pci cards were used quite a lot - and they were pci or pci-x only - not sure.
im not sure whether you can get drivers any more.

blackmagic has not supported more than 1 card in a machine up til now.

I use 1 Blackmagic and 1 Pinacle MovieBox DV Firewire, works just fine.
Also I used another day a miniDV VCRm what have a DV output, and worked fine connected directly on the Firewire port.

dv can sometimes have a delay which is too long for real live stuff.
    depends on what people need.

and seems that on faster computers, delay is a lot less.

With the pinnacle we have a strange issue... If I am using both, the Blackmagic and the Pinacle DV capture. As well some clips running on a background, you can note the Blackmagic gets some delay, but the DV pinacle don't. If you release all layers, or at least stop the background movies, both gets at the same speed. Just a curiosity.
