Colour fx masking overrides Intensity

Don't know if it's a feature and unfortunately I'm recently using this on a hog 1000 but if I apply a masking to a jpg which sits over a running video I can't control the intensity of this layer anymore, means I'm not able to fade it in our out,
In that moment where I start the cue with fader down the image pops up and also by dialing intensity in the programmer down to zero, the image is still in 100%

Looks like a bug to or do I oversee something very simple?

there are two types of masks, fading and non-fading.

fx 30,31,32 dont fade
fx 35,36,37 fade.

Thanks Richard, the library just was reading out "mask, without any extra value.
But dialing a bit up solved the problem.
