I'm using Catalyst 3.3 on a G5 and there is a black border on video inputs when I'm connecting a video camera.
Do you know this problem ? And what is it due to ?

I have made tests with 2 different video cards (SDI Blackmagic Declink and PAL Aurora Pipe) and with 2 different cameras and the problem remains.
When I use Firewire, there is no black border...the matter is I need to use a very long cable...50 meters...and that I can't use firewire for this length.
Can you help me ?
