First step NEVER upgrade to a new operating system on a shows machine unless it has specific features the software needs.
See if you can do a time machine restore, or restore from DVD back to lion.

It will be released when Richard decides it is ready for public release. It takes time to make test and fix things that change from one OS version to a new one. There are also things that Apple need to fix on Mavericks, it is not a perfect OS release, there are always many bugs on first releases.
We all just need to wait.
Don't use Mavericks yet!... Certainly not on a show computer!!!

The new Catalyst version to run on Mavericks is nearly ready. There have been major changes 'under the hood' caused by Apple making major changes from Mountain Lion into Mavericks.
We have been testing the new version to ensure everything works when it is released - Richard does not release new versions until he is happy they are show ready.

but there are some problems in 10.8.5... i have tested in on 2 different MacPro's (4.1 quad core, gt120, ssd and 4.1 8-core, quadro 4000, ssd raid) and the result is the same... same files, same projects runs perfect on this Mac's under 10.6.8... http://chaldee1.gotadsl.co.uk/~richa...8&postcount=17
