i mac compatibility

i mac g5 with 512mb ram, nvidia fx5200 and external firewire hard disk is it capable running catalyst dv with 1 or 2 layers

I would think that if you got a nice external drive that this would work for one or two layers. If you already have the computer (or know someone that does) just download the catalyst application and try it out. You'll have the blue bars, and the screen will go red every few minutes, but you can use it to guage to performance.
