Is there a way to save the preset list much like saving the cue list? That way when a show is over I can save that for the next time. I have tried loading the preset.txt file that the system makes but loading it looks like it is doing something but when I go to the preset pane there arent any.
this has been a very common request - and something i still havent got around to adding.
there's a workaround for saving presets for a certain show. all presets you've created are stored in a file named CatalystPresets.txt, it's located in the same directory as the application. if you rename the file (or move it to a different location) and open Catalyst, you will see that all the presets are empty. you can now create new ones. if you want to restore the old presets, remove the newer file and put the old file back to the directory where Catalyst application is.
What would be even better is a way to reload the presets without having to restart the app.
