Sound & Rotated image question

Hi All,

First post and a couple of problems need solving.Here's the setup

Mac pro
CatPM 4.10 m165UB HD
Matrox THTG, OP left - FOH....OP Centre - BP
Echo Audiofire12 soundcard for MSC and 1ch audio input

I'm programming a show that is taking a sound feed from a radio mic to control the intensity of 3 layers. I've managed to set this up on my laptop using the built in mic and it works a treat. Trying it on the mac pro with an echo audiofire12 is yelding no result.

the echo is the default input in audio midi setup
The echo's mixer is registering the input at 0dB on input 1
I have sound input switched on in catalyst and the echo is at the top of the list (only 1 channel, if this makes any diff)
the layers have visual effect 110 applied (sound intensity ch1)

...not working. any suggestions?

Problem 2:



We're short on projector throw distance on the BP which means we're not filling height or width. There's a possibility that we'll aquire a second projector for the BP that would be edge blended with the initial projector to fill the width at least. However, the height is the priority so we would have to turn the projectors on their sides.

I'm aware that we can rotate the video output in the Mac OS but i believe this would also rotate the FOH projector feed. Is it possible to apply individual rotation on each of the mixes?
