Any experience with Audio Interface RME Fireface 800

Friends,

I will have an application where I need to put out 4 Channels of Audio out of one Videofile. My Musical Director offers me a RME Fireface 800 interface to put out the 4 Channels out of Catalyst.

Is there any experience with QT and Catalyst with this Interface?

Normally I would hire a Motu Ultralite, but if anybody got field experinece with the RME I would be happy about a short note about that.

No Driver required it just work with Catalyst R O B

I've been outputting 6 Discrete Channels form Catalyst.

Just want to let you know that the Fireface with its dedicated drivers from RME works flawessly with MacPro, QT and Catalyst.
You need to test a bit with your Speaker Setting in the RME Driver, but once figured out, it works and played out multiple channels.
