We could not close Catalyst

Yesterday we lost control of Catalyst V5_03 N561.
OS X Mavericks.
We could not close Catalyst, or record the show etc, all menus were disabled.
If we could use the keyboard to play the Cuelyst but we could not interact with the Catalyst Control window and menus they were disabled.
We tried to reproduce the problem but we have only been able to approach..
The problem is similar (simulation purposes only) If you click on a menu and then click About Catalyst after leaving the welcome screen, if you click on the desktop and then the window Cuelist may use the Cuelist keyboard to play but Menus are disabled.
I just put this simulation to understand the problem.
in our case we had not opened the window and About Catalyst cursor was not in any text field, as well as data the Catalyst Control window could not move and we could not access any control.
Has anyone had this problem?
Is the cursor may have become blocked in some field?

its sounds as though a window or similar was open without you realising.
Had you accidentally clicked in the cue list? its quite easy to click on a field and not notice, you then have to hit enter, clicking away doesn't clear it.

it's also quite easy for a message box to appear on one of the multiple screens in your set up (trying to save the cue list without the dongle for example). If you're not looking for it, or can't see it because it's hidden by some projector blanking or whatever it can be quite confusing.

It may be that the problem is there. But when you're in the middle of an opera with over 700 preset you get scared a little.

Use magicq pc if you don't have lighting console. I think, its easy than big preset list
