Any body had problems takeing 1920 out of a Cat and using either a HD image pro or fiber kit to Scale signal to 1024/1280 or deliver it to projectors.
we seem to have a purple issue.....
running at 1600 everything is fine.

We used here just fine
1920 x 1080
or
1920 x 1200
during set up today we tried to run Cat1 output one at 1920 rather than 1600, both attached monitors were ok at 1920 ( one FOH via Cat5) but the Image Pro still seems to have issues... Black seems to have a green cast over it and White seems to have a purple tint?
run everything at 1600 and everything is happy?
Ian,
What model Image Pro are you using...SDI?....HD?
Are you seeing this issue when you hook up a monitor to the passthough port on the Image Pro? or only at the projector?
It sounds to me from your description that it might be either a Gamma adjustment issue or the polarizers in your projectors.....odd that it goes away at a different resolution though.
Have you tried swapping out your Image Pro for another to rule it out?
thanks Richard.
When we get the cats out of their cage after our day off. i will run some perms with our two cats and 3 HD Image Pros...
I did see the same thing in MIA on one of our US friends new spec cats when we tried 1920 direct to a Barco PJ via the TL fiber kit..again only at 1920 problem, change to 1600 no problem.
Ian (backstage - now where did i put my earplugs)
I am running four Cats into image pros into a router-switch-router and on to Barco HD 18s with no problem at 1920x1080. I am running everything legal and in time at 59.94 interlaced. Cats are outputting 1920x1080p @ 30.
problem shared is a problem solved....strange what you find when you have time to play....
HD image pro would not default to RGB colourspace and remained in yuv colourspace... ok for all other screen settings
onwards and upwards

A thought...
Are you using VGA into your ImagePros, or DVI? I know it sounds trivial but if you're using VGA cables then they might be too long or might be less tolerant than you need.
